Hockey Night in TIFF

Our night cannot be described in words. But as writers, we’ll give it our best slap-shot.

TIFF has landed. The Cowgirls decided to tackle two events yesterday – one with a beer theme and the other with a hockey theme; because since when is TIFF about the movies? Below is the outline of our night and how we went from being the cool, classy babe on a motorbike to being spoon-fed poutine in a corner by our date at 1:00 a.m.

Ode to the Sunflower

Sunflowers are just about everywhere in Toronto right now. Crammed into people’s front gardens, towering over fences and doors, and even poking out from cracks in the path. Amongst all the hype of TIFF right now, they remind us of simpler, more relaxed times and make us smile. So here is an ode to the sunflower; shown by our various photos around town. Enjoy!
