A couple of nights after the evening with the young blonde, she meets his older brother, her high school crush, in a park down the street from her house. She is holding a bottle of wine in one hand and slapping herself with the other for agreeing to do this. It’s too late now. As a dark, masculine figure approaches the bench she is sitting on, she has to do a double take; James Chaplin, the morose, black-hooded, disagreeable misfit has traded in his army boots and studded belt for flip-flops and a polo shirt. He has been jockified.

Summer’s at its peak right now, and no matter where you’re located in Toronto – there is a park near and dear to you. For yesterday’s sunny Sunday, we took our friend Lex Kilgour (actress at NYC’s Neighborhood Playhouse) and did some cartwheels and jumping jacks to get our blood pumping. Well, okay, we had a hefty glass of wine beforehand but it was lots of fun nonetheless! It got us thinking though, what are other fun things Torontonians can do in a park?
