He’s proved to the world that he’s the best. After winning gold in January at the World Cup, and rocking the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, Michael Lambert has suddenly found himself with some spare time on his hands (if you haven’t noticed Toronto’s heat wave by now, you need therapy). Sipping sake together at Yorkville’s Sushi Inn restaurant, the Cowgirls wanted to know what this Over the Bolts star does once winter is over.

The big twist: the soul-shaker, the ultimate climax that had everyone all a-Twitter, was when we discovered that the show had been fake all along. We hate to be that pesky nerd with her hand up saying “I have a question”, but we do. If this show was entirely fake, where were Heidi and Spencer? And why was Holly still crying over them on The Aftershow? Had the producers decided to pull this curve-ball ending with Conrad, we would have been livid. But because the show was lagging in both plot and protagonist, it seemed somewhat suitable to toss all remaining intrigue out the window.

By-passing the lineup of Kelly-crazed fans and entering through the “bloggers” entrance at MTV certainly made for an exciting Monday afternoon. Our ‘plus one’ (Kim McCormack of I Heart the Music) joined the Cowgirls upstairs for the taping of the Kelly Cutrone Aftershow followed by a sneak peak into the new Toronto online beauty magazine, Fora. His presence on screen is witty, endearing, and simply adorable. With 11,000 fans on Facebook, 22,000 followers on Twitter, and long line-ups of screaming fans outside MTV, clearly we’re not the only ones who think so. But Dan Levy is still the friendly neighbour we remember working at our local video store – and he graciously sat down with us to answer a few questions we’ve had about his life since it got turned upside down.
