How a Motorcycle Engine Works
Even if you’re not a grease monkey, every pony must at least know the basics!
While sprucing up our bikes yesterday with oil changes, chain lubing, clutch adjustments etc., I thought I might share with you some basics about how a motorcycle engine works. That way, you can brag about spark plugs to your friends and actually know what the hell you’re talking about!

BMW Motorrad Collaboration
Why we’re teaming up with BMW Toronto to harness some serious horsepower!
Mushy Pony is delighted to announce that we’ve teamed up with the radical BMW Motorrad in a series of bike test rides this season specifically targeted at the female market. On each bike will be our founding editor, Emma Farquharson, who has a history of burning rubber and not taking any ABS. But before we get to the bikes, perhaps we should review her credentials first.

Electrocuting Kitty.
The week-long journal of Kitty vs. the electric Scat Mat.
First and foremost, let it be stressed that I refuse to harm any living creature. My darling pet, Kitty, is a member of the family and receives an endless supply of cuddles every day. At night however, she has a habit of venturing into our living room and leaving us a present on our crisp, white sofa. So after tolerating this for a mere 7 years, my family’s finally decided to bring in the Petsafe Scat Mat: a devise that briefly shocks your beloved pet in order to keep them off any particular surface. My mother has already been curious enough to touch it and get shocked, so the question is: how long will it take Kitty before she does the same thing.

The real dilemma is how does one take up riding without having to enroll in the M2 course at RTI, or more pressingly, without already owning a multi-thousand dollar bike. Here’s where dirt-biking comes in:
