Hungering for a Half-marathon.
How I ran a half-marathon without any training whatsoever.
Last June, I signed-up on a whim for the Scotiabank Half-Marathon on Oct. 16th. At the time, I figured I would spend many months training and getting my body into proper shape before the big day – seeing as I hadn’t run a day in my life. That’s a lie, I once ran to the pub at the end of my street to grab a table for the Leafs game.
Leafs Preseason Showdown
Discussing the 2011 Maple Leafs roster with The Score’s Will Farquharson.
When it comes to pro-sports updates, we trust nobody better than The Score‘s Will Farquharson (unrelated to our Editor in Chief, Emma Farquharson). We’ve gabbed about TFC, the Blue Jays, and now, we’re tackling the Leafs head-on right before the season opener on Oct. 6th. Problem is, one Farq is an optimist and the other – a little pucked up.

S1000RR: The Elegant Beast.
Our review of the 2010 BMW S1000RR – it eats crotch rockets for brunch.
There’s a reason why I’m referring to the S1000RR as a beast. For one, you know Cycle World’s Best Superbike of 2010 and winner of the Supertest World Association Award has got to have some bite. Plus, this bike literally looks like a beast. It has gills on the fairing, scales alongside its gas tank, and it growls. Literally.

F800GS: For On and Off the Grid.
Our review of the 2011 BMW F800GS – an off-road, off-route city slicker.
As a dirt biker, I feel most comfortable on a bike with my weight forward, my elbows out, and my seat as narrow as possible. So you can understand the familiarity and comfort I felt the moment I sat down on the BMW F800GS. That comfort was short-lived. In the simplest words, this is exactly what my dirt bike would be like if it were on steroids.
