Skateboarders, artists, and beer guzzling broncos, listen up! Our dear friend, Mike Bozinovski of Boz Boards, has submitted a board design in Steam Whistle’s Design a Deck competition and their wrap party is being held this Friday at the brewery. Along with brilliantly designed skateboards by local artists, you’ll also be treated to live performances by DJ’s Francis McQueen and Matt Weed, an indoor half pipe to skate on (try not to get wasted beforehand), and fresh poutine by Poutini’s. A fun theme for any dinner party with friends.

Two nights ago, the Cowgirls invited their artist friends over for a build-your-own pizza party. But knowing only how to open a bottle of wine, we were a little nervous about cooking five pizzas. Turns out it’s easy. Buy crusts (Summerhill Market makes the best ones, so don’t opt for Pillsbury) and fresh toppings of your choice, turn your stove to 450º, cook for 15 minutes, and serve.
