Obviously you don’t need us to delve into the political strategies of Jack Layton for the upcoming election – it’s not exactly our forte (although Duceppe does kinda look like my dad). But after consulting CBC’s list of federal parties of Canada, we came across a few that you may not have known existed. Knowledge is power, so it’s time to do some research!

Why Harper’s speech last night was a win-win without needing any words.

It’s funny how out of all the topics discussed during last night’s election debate, the most common of all was Stephen Harper’s gaze. As of 9:30 p.m., about a half-hour after the debate’s conclusion, Harper’s stare had generated at least 1,474 messages on Twitter — including original messages and retweets.
