Daily Affirmations
Why I love days like this that begin with a smile and a wave of positivity.
There’s nothing quite like waking up, making a cup of coffee, and reading an inspiring article in the Huffington Post by Walter E. Jacobson. Not being one for self-help anything, I found myself pleasantly surprised by his perspective on affirmations and how they lead to improving your life and relationships.

Oh, bama.
In celebration of American justice served ice cold, here is a fabulous video.
Isn’t President Obama the coolest guy in the world? Between his speech at the Correspondents Dinner bashing Donald Trump, and his eloquent announcement about the death of Bin Laden, we decided to celebrate by showing you one of our favourite all-American moments: him dancing on Ellen.

Raising Boyfriends like Ponies.
Is all fair in love and war? Rebecca Eckler seems to think so.
On the front page of the National Post‘s Arts and Life section today, there is an excerpt from Rebecca Eckler’s guide to modern romance, How to Raise a Boyfriend: The Definitive Manual for Educating Your Man. If the title isn’t enough to make you gag, then you’re in for a real treat of he-said she-said antics circling around each other, ultimately proving her point that being with a boyfriend is exactly like raising a six year old.
So much for loving someone for who they are.

Call Me Dad
An amazing video by Second City comedian, Patrick B. Smith!
You all remember our friend Patrick Smith, right? He let us interview him a while back, as well as made the hit music video, Suburbanites, which rocked XM radio stations everywhere. Well, here is his latest piece – an awkward moment between father and “son”.
