Nathalie Atkinson and the Cowgirls have something in common…
The National Post’s Nathalie Atkinson shared with us her favourite Valentine’s Day gifts today in the paper. One of them is our friends over at Aromachology who we had the chance to interview just over a month ago. The personalized fragrance company is hosting a pop-up store at The Bay in Yorkdale, so you can sample scents together leading up to the big day. To see the Cowgirl’s Valentine’s picks, read our article here.

Did you know that the fragrance oil behind your perfume most likely came from the same place that makes your kitty litter smell sweet? Those “pure essential oils” you’ve read on the label are actually a naturally occurring, complex mixture of aroma compounds. That’s just one of the many things we learned today at Compagnie Parento Ltd., a fragrance manufacturer located right here in Toronto. In fact, we followed our noses all the way around the plant!

There are some key products out there that are worth making a note of. They make great gifts all year round, and every Cowgirl would approve wholeheartedly. So if you’ve got a case of writer’s block with your Christmas list this year, feel free to cheat off ours. It’s okay this time.
