There are a few things we’ve learned since embarking on this pony adventure. Some of which were from pros like Shinan Govani, and others we’ve picked up on ourselves. To survive in this world, one must not be a lone ranger – nor should one be surrounded by a posse of ponies everywhere she goes. Poise, appearance, wit, and demeanor are just several of the core traits to be constantly aware of and strive to improve upon every day. But it’s finally time we let you in on exactly what we’ve learned on our journey thus far, that way, you can stand out as a confident conversationalist come LG Fashion Week.

Sometime shortly after CMW the weather became unusually beautiful and I suddenly woke up a week later realizing I hadn’t accomplished anything. Well, it gave my thoughts some time to stew at least. And during the festival, I’d teamed up with my talented photographer friend Luke Champion hitting the scene hard. Here’s an outline of our adventures.
Concert Review: Puscifer

What is a Puscifer? That was the semi-rhetorical question that greeted us at Maynard James Keenan’s second sold out night at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. The answer to that question was really not much clearer after two nights of shows, but maybe that was the point. Puscifer (“Poo-See-Fur” obviously created by the same man who’d name his vineyard after a pubic wig) defies categorization. It is a band in that they play music, sure. But it is also a comedy troupe doing onstage satire and prerecorded comedic skits.
Mistress Meltdown
Why are some women just out to destroy each other? Ponies ponder.

Something has changed in our culture. Perhaps its the Hollywood effect, perhaps it’s our evolution, but at what point did women start blindly attacking each other sans motive? When Tiger Woods’ mistresses started hosting their own press conferences and talking sex on the Howard Stern show in their bikinis, our stomachs started to turn. “Poor Elin!” we cried, “why are they doing this to her?” And now, merely weeks later, Sandra Bullock has encountered the exact same thing with nothing to show for it but a tarnished Oscar. It’s as if we’ve accepted this classless behaviour as what women are like now. Nothing but a bunch of black-widow spiders in thongs.
