With the launch of his first album, Perfect Accident just around the corner, Jesse Labelle is over the moon. His music has already been compared to legendary artists such as John Mayer and Coldplay (his lyrics melting the hearts of everyone who hears them), but Jesse sets himself apart with a humble personality and personal devotion to his fan base. Together, the Cowgirls chatted with him about his inspiration, his favourite spots in Toronto, and yes – his past girlfriends.

Come up to my Room. Please.
In case you missed it, here’s our take on the Gladstone’s most recent exhibition.
This past weekend, the Gladstone Hotel hosted their annual alternative exhibition: Come Up My Room featuring several surreal installation pieces by our local dreaming artists. The Cowgirls were there in full force, taking photos everywhere we went – because frankly – you wouldn’t believe what we saw otherwise.

Now Boarding the Olympics: Jeff Batchelor
Our interview with Canada’s Olympian boarder right before the games begin.
This half-pipe, wholehearted snowboarder recently had his dreams come true when he won second place at a World Cup event in Stoneham; earning him a spot in this February’s Olympic Games. But before Jeff Batchelor could hop on the plane to Vancouver, the Cowgirls decided to talk with him about where it all started. And how after so many nasty falls, he’s always managed to get right back up again.
