Jac & Gill at Loki Lounge
Hot party. Hot DJ’s. And guess what? You’re one of the hot invitees!

The gorgeous girls behind the Jac & Gill collection are DJ’ing at Loki Lounge this Thursday night. Although it’s for “family night,” we wouldn’t recommend bringing the toddler you babysit here…. although, it would make for a great story so hell with it! We’ll see you there for great drinks, a great environment, and great music being played by the girls who know it best.

Movember Madness – Mo’s Before Ho’s.
As Movember nears an end, we’d like to reflect on the good, the bad, and the mugly.

For those that haven’t caught on yet, here’s how Movember works: start the month clean shaven, then grow your sexy stache throughout November without so much as a trim (all while getting donations towards prostate cancer research). When December hits, you can ‘mo the lawn’ so to speak and go back to your normal life. This Australian tradition (as of 2003) has gotten the entire globe mad for mustaches – with us hockey-playing Canadians soaking up every stache-second we can.

Your Fragrance. Your Way.
The masterminds behind the customizable fragrance company: Aromachology

Courtesy of Kirsten Menkes
Fragrance has always been a difficult item to purchase. The rows upon rows of celebrity-designer-branded scents can seem both daunting and confusing. But Kirsten Menkes and Ashlee Firsten of Aromachology have found a solution to this dilemma: customizable fragrances. Based on completing a profile quiz and sampling base smells together, you can have your own personal fragrance that suits who you are (and not who Paris Hilton is). Talking with Kirsten, we learned more about this unique process.

So You Think You Can Stand Around?
What it’s like to audition for So You Think You Can Dance Canada – in time-line form.

While most girls were lined up outside H&M for Jimmy Choo’s collection launch early last Saturday, I was standing in another foot-related line-up downtown. The auditions for season three of So You Think You Can Dance Canada kicked off at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on November 14th, and after many long hours of training and watching the show religiously, I decided to finally give it a shot.
